Community Living Camp: Day 5 (17.03.2023)

DAY 5

FINALE FRIDAY

17 of March marked the last day of our camp and the day began with a prayer by Anjana.S Nair. The first session was the news release presented by Gemini House depicting the events of the previous day. The best part of it was a video played by them that shows the students leaving the campus with their belongings the previous day, which was a heart-melting one. After a tea break, the official Valedictory Function began at 10.45am.

Our beloved Dr. Simi Teacher addressed the gathering, followed by the report presentation by the College Chairman,  Parvathi.S,  consolidating the entire events that happened during the camp. Financial report of the camp was submitted and read by Priya Krishnamoorthy, and explained about the entire expenses of the entire camp.

After that reflection session was provided,  where the students came front to talk about their experiences regarding the camp. The most common topics that they told include, the residential nature of the camp, the tour, the night stay, campfire, the mouth-watering food being served and the amazing love, care and concern of our dear teachers. Since our camp was a blended one, we ordered food from outside,  but it had a homely touch and great taste, and was served one time. Even though it is summer season going on, our tour gave us immense pleasure and relief from our hectic semester. The stay with our classmates gave us the opportunity to know one another,  adjust with the environment and bring a feeling of community.

The session came to an end by the thought provoking speech of our Principal, Dr. Preetha T L. She had acknowledged each and every person who worked behind our Community Living Camp, and gave her wishes to all the students for their cooperation and guidance.
