Community Living Camp: Day 4 (16.03.2023)

DAY 4

THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY 

Today was the last day of our residential camping, each and every one were worried about leaving and started to miss the past days of the camp. So, today morning as usual we had our bed coffee, personal time and prayer time. At 7. 15 till 8.30 we had an Aerobics session conducted by our classmates Archana Mohan and Arathi.R.P. It was one of the most memorable events, and everyone enjoyed as well as took part in it wholeheartedly. They played a video of the session and demonstrated it in front of us, and we joined them. 

After our breakfast and relaxtion time, we had the news release done by Virgo house, depicting the events of the previous day. The presentation of Remya Ratheesh was the special part of the session. At 9.45 Cultural Programme of Leo House, 'Prakambanam', began, and it surprised us with the exquisite performances of each group members. They played a skit based on Retro theme,  sung amazing group song collecting the best songs, at the end they presented an amazing dance performance.

Later at 10.15 till 1' O clock we had a class on First Aid, presented by Mr. Jeevan, from the Department of Fire and Rescue. The class was a good one, and it indicated several minute as well as important points that one should take care of while providing the first aid. He had also shared his experiences at his field. The class was a great opportunity to understand the importance and relevance of first aid as well as the role played by Fire and Rescue in our society.  Then after our lunch break we had a class on Community Productive Work, which demonstrated the ways in which soaps could be made by ourselves. Then we had the game session by Virgo house after which we went straight to pack our bags. The moment was very emotional since the college was our home for few days, so leaving it was painful. Afterwards we left with our belongings beholding a whole bunch of memories.

COLLEGE UNION AND ART'S CLUB INAUGURATION

         The College Union and Art's Club Inauguration of our batch 2021-23 was conducted on 17th June 2022. The college union is name "Tathva" and the art's club is named "Rang De". The programme was organized by the novel union members and the student teachers of the batch. College Union Inauguration was done by Dr. Raju Narayana Swami IAS, Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Kerala. And the Arts Club Rang De was Inaugurated by Sri. Achu Suganth, famous serial artist.        After the formal function, vibrant cultural programmes were arranged by the student teachers of batches 2020-22 and 2021-23. WEEK 11 (23rd- 27th Jan)

  This week was the most crucial week. During this week I had completed the portions of both the classes and gave them notes too. Devika Ma'am came for our observation during the same week. Afterwards I had conducted the diagnostic test and achievement test accordingly in my 8 E class. Then I had conducted Innovativd Work on Phrasal Verbs in the class. As the part of m Innovative Work,  I gave them notes regarding the ten Phrasal Verbs and their meanings. Then on the next day I split the entire class into five groups. And they were pictures which were associated with the meanings of Phrasal Verbs. At first I made them identify the Phrasal Verb with the picture and later they were asked to construct sentences with the phrasal verbs.
