On the third day of our camp (15th of March), we woke up at 5.30 after an amazing and enjoyable stay at the college. Then everyone used their time to get ready for the day and we were served tea at 6 am. After our tea time, we had our prayer time at 6.30 and breakfast at 7.15. Later we had news release presented by Leo house which was really entertaining and it consolidated all the relevant things that happened on the previous days.
At 9 we had our yoga class which was guided by Thushara Kala Ma'am. It was a great session and had a soothing effect. It made us relax from our within and concentrate to breath and body. And it came to an end at 10.45 am. Then at 11 we had a class on Self Defense which was taken by two officials from Kerala Police. It was a thought provoking class that taught us about the insecurities that prevail in our society and how should we maintain focus and clear awareness regarding our immediate environment. They also depicted certain tips and tricks that could be applied in our life in case of emergency. The clas lasted till 1.30.
After lunch cultural programme of Gemini House, 'Aura' was presented. They gave us a visual treat in which a fashion show, dance as well as, a slow paced dance depicting the importance of motherhood was embedded. After that cleaning and gardening was done by different houses. And later game session hosted by Leo house was there, and it mainly included group games that made us enhance our social skills and collaboration.
After a tea break we had Mock Parliament on the topic, "Gender Neutral Uniform and Gender Equality". It was the most interesting session among the rest, there were ruling party and opposition party and they voiced the relevance and drawbacks on the topic, there was much more enjoyment and spirit maintained throughout the session. We had our personal time and prayer time in between and had the most awaited Campfire being set at 7 in the evening. All of us irrespective of our age, and gender sung, danced and enjoyed the moment and filled our heart with the new memories. It was one of the best part of our Community Living Camp. Then after our dinner we went to bed at 10.
