INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

International Yoga Day is observed on June 21 and it was proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his speech in UN General Assembly on 2014. The particular day is chosen because it is a longest day (summer solstice) and is considered important in many parts of the world. 'Yoga for Humanity' is the theme for Yoga day 2022.

Yoga is a vital form of exercise for both mind and body and it binds them together. It gives significance to the rhythm of our body and tunes them such that it is been heard. Yoga along with meditation not only soothes our mind but it is also the best way of getting rid of excess fat, stress, anxiety, insomnia,  digestive problems and much more. It works like magic if done in a regular basis amd build in balance in mind and body.

In association with the Yoga Day Celebration, our college had organized a yoga dance which qas guided by our Physical Education teacher, Ms. Soosi. Every students of our batch had took part in the amazing performance by getting dressed up in white t-shirts and black track pants. It was a great experience to do it together and we also got aware of the different asanas too.
