CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME- Nadan Pattu




      Capacity Building Programme is the process by which individuals and organizations obtain, improve and retain the skills, knowledge, tools and equipment and other resources needed to do their job competently. The main objectives include, to strengthen the leadership skills, to create love and unity among the students, to organize a programme, to enable the students to understand their skills and talents and to develop interpersonal skills.

      As a part of our B.Ed curriculum we the students of Christ Nagar College of Education conducted a capacity building programme and each optional students presented different cultural events and programmes. The cultural events of the programme commenced with a Traditional Folksong presented by the student teachers of English Optional. The second performance was a Thematic Dance based on "Mother's Love" given by the students of Physical Science optional. Then the student teachers of Mathematics optional presented a Silent Skit on the topic of "National Integration". The most different among the programme was a Social Satire Play presented by Social Science Optional student teachers, it was in the form of parody of Ottanthullal. And the final programme was conducted by the student teachers of Natural Science optional and they did a highly informative skit on the Theory of Psycho-Social Development by Erick Erickson.

      Each and every programme was unique and different in themselves and student teachers passionately presented it with pleasant face and joyful mind.
