     I remember the very first day when I stepped to AMHSS, Thirumala,  for collecting portions for my First Phase Teaching Practice. I was nervous, anxious and tensed to a great extend. I can also recollect my first class that I took in the school. Talking about my experiences from the first phase of training, I get to know about the functioning of an institution,  how well the teachers influence the growth of a school and how much impact the school's culture create on students. I was able to identify the characters, backgrounds and talents of students and also get to know that each and every child is talented in their own way, we can't judge a book by its cover. It was from there I was able to develop my voice,  teaching skills and classroom management.      Coming to path of St Mary's Higher Secondary School,  my strength was all those experiences that I gained from my previous school, whether in teaching or in related activities....

  This was the last week of our teaching practice,  and was indeed difficult as well as hectic. In this week I had conducted Achievement Test for VIII D on the topics, The Boy Who Drew Cats  and Taj Mahal. The students attended the exam really well and many of them scored good marks. The test was for 25 marks and contained questions from reading, writing and literary skills as well as language usage. Few students find it difficult to complete the exam within the time given. Since Tuesday I didn't had class, it was utilized for correction.  On Wednesday I gave notes to VIII D students on the chapter The Shipwrecked Sailor. And next day, I continued with remaining notes and textual activities. On Friday,  I taught them the chapter,  From a Railway Carriage, which was a poem by Robert Luis Stevenson. I was able to teach them the poem in a better was by showing videos, asking questions related to their experiences on train journey and with pictures. The student...
