WEEK 4 (14th - 18th Nov)

The fourth week was a crucial one because during this week we had conducted Mid-term test for the students. And I had prepared question papers for the two classes accordingly and conducted the exams. I was able to assess the learning of the students to some extent and corrected them based on that.    The key aspect of the week was Day 20 (18.11.2022), during this day I taught IX D in a different way by jotting relevant points on the Blackboard and making students enlist the various events.  It was really effective, and children took their complete effort to answer my questions. There were also really attentive during the entire session and listened to the class carefully.  It was a dream come true event for me and filled my soul.      I had tried different methods to make the pupils attentive in the class I failed a lot and at last I am happy that I succeeded in making them good listeners and competitive champs. The third week was completely about moving with our daily routine like, taking classes and engaging the substitution periods. It was more sort of a busy week. The resource person had taken all her best ways to depict the various aspects of the topic and make them understand it with the help of videos and demonstrations. The most challenging part of this week was the substitution period that too for younger classes. The children do shower our mind with hap...

The second week had started with a new energy, now we had successfully completed a week in the school, and it is our new week here. And now the place is not new to us and got adjusted with the new routine and the system of the school as well as the students.      On 31st October I was able to engage another class IX C and taught them 'Climate Change Is Not Hysteria It's a Fact' and completed the same chapter in IX D on the same week and started second part textbook with the chapter The Jungle Air Crash. In VIII E I gave them notes regarding the chapter The Sower and started the chapter 'The Village Blacksmith' which is also a poem, written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.      On Day 7, 1.11.2022, the class was only up to afternoon, and it was on the same day I had the noon meal duty for the first time. Even before, during the School Induction Period noon meal duty was my most beloved task. Children running towards you with their thalis and you ...
