FEILD TRIP - Kerala Arts and Crafts Village, Vellar

         The  Kerala Arts and Craft Village  in Kerala is located in the district of Thiruvananthapuram. Itvis spread across 8.5 acres of land. The complex consists of an amphi theater, museum, studios for crafts people and an art gallery (embodium). A large amount of excellent art works and sculptures are displayed there which can be marvelled at. The project costing Rs. 700 million is a joint venture of Kerala Tourism and Kudumbasree units. Modelled on the lines of Dilli Haat, one of the biggest complex of handicraft products in the country, the proposed Village is divided into three sections: Travancore, Kochi and Malabar. It has also modules for more than 750 craftsman and artisans working on their concepts with the visitors look up to.     Paintings, terracotta, handlooms, sculptures, reed and bamboo products along with workshops would b conducted in the village. CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMME- Nadan Pattu

      Capacity Building Programme is the process by which individuals and organizations obtain, improve and retain the skills, knowledge, tools and equipment and other resources needed to do their job competently. The main objectives include, to strengthen the leadership skills, to create love and unity among the students, to organize a programme, to enable the students to understand their skills and talents and to develop interpersonal skills.       As a part of our B.Ed curriculum we the students of Christ Nagar College of Education conducted a capacity building programme and each optional students presented different cultural events and programmes. The cultural events of the programme commenced with a Traditional Folksong presented by the student teachers of English Optional. NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY- Exhibition

             National Science Day is celebrated on February 28 to commemorate the invention of Raman Effect which explains the change in wavelength of light that occurs when a light beam is deflected by molecules. The theme of National Science Day 2022 is  " Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future".         As a part of the Science Day celebration, we the students of Christ Nagar College of Education, Thiruvallam 2021-23 batch had conducted a Science Exhibition which Integrated all the concepts in the field of Science and Technology. All the optional students jointly conducted the exhibition wholeheartedly and it was a great success. Non-Science students were able to gain much more knowledge on the subjects.
