       The second week was most challenging and hectic one. We spent an entire week in the school and its showered us a different experience.  ST Mary's Higher Secondary School is one among those schools which have the highest number of students and the divisions of classes exceeds to J1. Eventhough, the school is well maintained and highly disciplined, and teachers and management take a great effort to make the smooth functioning of the school.      The first day of the week, 19th June 2023 was celebrated as the Silver Jubilee of Higher Secondary section of the school. The Inauguration of the function was done by Dr. Shashi Tharoor and the other guests were Sri Palliyara Sreedharan and  Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos.        The second phase teaching practice of our B.Ed curriculum began on 14th June 2023 and the school assigned to me is St Mary's Higher Secondary School,  Pattom. Along with me, the other student teachers who were send to the school were, Arya Krishna and Anthea Judith Nigli. We reached the school at 9 and met the Headmistress of the school Ms. Rani M Alex and the principal of the institution.  Later we met our respective concerned teachers and started our day. My concern teacher is Ms. Deepa Joseph.       Since we joined the school on Wednesday, we started to take class from the same day. The class assigned to is VIII F, which is a boys class. I began the class by conducting a informal interaction and taught them folktales and its features.        As part of our B.Ed curriculum we the students at Christ Nagar College of Education had started our journey of phase ll teaching practice on June 14th, 2023. The students of our class were divided into different groups and was send to different schools in Thiruvananthapuram. The schools include St Mary's Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Cotton Hill School, Vazhuthacaud, Victory Girl's Higher Secondary School, Nemom, Mannam Memorial Higher Secondary School, Neeramankara, Karthika Thirunnal Government Vocational and Higher Secondary School, Manacaud, VPS Malankara Higher Secondary School, Venganoor, and Government Model Higher Secondary School, Venganoor .    The second phase teaching practice was taking up our mind, eventhough we had our first teaching practice, we had a gap of almost four months.
