Christmas exam continued till 22nd December and we were dealing with out exam duties. We were assigned duties in UP as well as in high school classes. Watching the students out there giving exams, enjoying our duty shifts, mingling with the smaller kids, helping them with their doubts and tackling the pupils,  the week drift away gifting the best moments.  And the school closed for the Christmas vacation on 22nd December. Our dear children embraced us with their kind wishes and smiles, which filled our heart. And on 23rd December,  the Headmistress of our school, Smt. Sathi teacher invited us for her promotion party. On 23rd, we took part in her happiness and hada splendid day together along with cake cutting. We were surprised as well as grateful for the support of the teachers.

WEEK 6 (12th- 16th Dec)

This week was one of the most different as well as challenging period of our teaching practice. It was the week of Christmas Exams, and we were assigned exam duties.  On 14th December we were asked to be at school for the arrangements of the upcoming examinations. All of us wholeheartedly welcomed our duties and enjoyed our path.  As a kid, I always wondered looking at teachers,  who used to be our invigilators. I thought that it was really good to sit in an exam hall looking at children. But when I myself did the job, I understood the seriousness and the responsibilities that a teacher should possess while given duties.  It was indeed a great opportunity to understand the ways in which exams are conducted. But apart from all these things, it was a great experience and I was able to understand children much better during the invigilation.

WEEK 5 (5th- 9th Dec)

A fter a short break of our S2 B.Ed examination,  we had rejoined the school on 5th December. We were eagerly waiting to come back to our students, and to the school which we really missed during the two weeks. During this week, I taught 9C, the chapter The Last Leaf. And I gave notes to 9D since a bunch of portions were taken to them by my in-charge teacher.  In 8E class, I taught them, A Day in the Country and gave the remaining notes. On both the classes,  I gave them revision questions and prepared them for the Second Term Exam.  It was indeed a busy week, but we enjoyed the substitution periods with students thereby collecting a handful of memories.
