DIGITAL FLIPBOOK-My Grandmother’s House

Image
A digital flipbook is an interactive e-book that looks just like a printed publication, with pages that can be flipped and turned. It preserves the traditional look and feel of a paper book but includes interactive elements like links and navigation. As a part of our B.Ed curriculum I had prepared a Digital Flipbook and had made it as a teaching aid for the chapter "My Grandmother’s House" by the ever-shining poet Kamala Das.  I tried to include all the important information regarding the poet along with detailed notes of the poem. Apart from that, videos and audio regarding the poem is also provided. The application that I had used for making the flipbook is fliphtml5. LINK:- https://online.fliphtml5.com/jivjs/xlfu/

The Blume She stood weary neath the blazing sun Bending her winsome visage, She stood thirsty with her drying roots  Drooping her dazzling foliage, She stood gazing at a little bug  Dangling her alluring petals. Suddenly touched by the zephyr  She felt a little woozy. Trip, trip, trip it starts to rain  Tickling the tiring blossom, Elated by the nature's treat  She raised her arching body,  Then she stood and nudge her bestie  And swayed like a little wave,  Slowly a child came to her  And marvelled at her beauty,  She greeted it by touching itspalm But the child did pluck her off.
